Robert Bosch Tool Corporation to Partner with Tucker Hibbert

Today, Robert Bosch Tool Corporation announced an agreement to partner with snocross racing star Tucker Hibbert for the 2015-2016 season. Hibbert is a 13-time X Games medalist, nine-time U.S national champion and two-time world champion in the sport. Bosch becomes the official power tools sponsor of Hibbertā€™s Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truck team.

Under the agreement, Hibbert and his team will use Bosch power tools exclusively for all maintenance, upgrades and repair of race equipment and facilities. The Bosch logo will appear on Hibbertā€™s competition snowmobiles, branded apparel and transport vehicle.

ā€œBosch power tools represents a leadership brand in a tough, competitive industry where winning each day is important,ā€ said David Pizzolato, group manager, Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. ā€œWeā€™re going to align our business with a winner, and thereā€™s no more dominant winner in the U.S. right now than Tucker Hibbert. He represents what our company is all about.ā€

Snocross is the most popular form of snowmobile racing. Racers routinely hit speeds of up to 60 mph with jump distances exceeding 75 feet. Throughout the winter, snocross races are held at fan-friendly venues across the U.S. and broadcast worldwide.

In 2011, 2014 and 2015, Hibbert earned ESPY Award nominations in the Best Male Action Sports Athlete category. Last winter, he captured his 100th Pro National victory, ninth National Snocross Championship and 13th X Games medal. Hibbert is the second youngest X Games gold medalist, taking his first award at age 15, and has earned the most medals awarded by X Games in a single winter sport.

The Hibbert team was using Bosch power tools prior to the agreement. They cited the brandā€™s overall quality, but in particular how the companyā€™s cordless tools withstand cold temperatures, yet deliver maximum performance. Bosch lithium-ion batteries are performance rated to -4ĢŠ F.

ā€œWeā€™re excited to welcome Bosch to our team as the official power tools sponsor,ā€ said Hibbert. ā€œOur goal as a team is to work with companies and brands that have the same goals and push to be the best every day. Weā€™ve put Bosch tools to the test and know they can get the job done.ā€

Ebert has deep roots in the snowmobile industry. He began his career racing both snocross and cross-country where he took home many top honors including winning the I-500. Most recently, he served as the crew chief of Team Arcticā€™s Factory snocross team.

ā€œWhen I started racing, Kirk was a huge part of my career and has always been a mentor,ā€ Ebert said. ā€œI know I have big shoes to fill with Garth leaving but am looking forward to contributing to the team.ā€

Tucker Hibbert to race the Indiana Ironman Pro Motocross National

Snowmobile snocross champion, Tucker Hibbert, will line-up against the worldā€™s best motocross racers Saturday at the Pro Motocross Championshipā€™s Ironman National in Crawfordsville, Ind. Itā€™ll mark the crossover athleteā€™s one and only pro motocross event of the summer.

No stranger to two wheels, Hibbert has raced both snocross and motocross at professional level since 2000. Early in his career, he took a brief break from snocross to add being a top-10 Supercross rider to his long list of accomplishments. Now, with his focus back on snocross, heā€™s won an unprecedented 108 pro national events, 13 X Games medals, nine national titles and two world championships.

Hibbert had five pro motocross events on his schedule this summer but an ankle injury sustained in June sidelined him from racing until now.

Look for Hibbert at the Ironman National on the no. 685 KTM in the 450-class. Racing action from Indiana will be streamed live on promotocross.com. Additionally, fans can watch the first motos on MavTV from 1 to 3 p.m. ET and the second motos on NBCSN beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Tucker Hibbert – #685

ā€œThis summer didnā€™t play out how I hoped but Iā€™m healthy and ready to race. I made the switch to KTM and felt comfortable on the bike right away. Early June, I knew I was ready to race so I signed-up for Budds Creek. A couple days later, I came up short on a big jump and broke my ankle. It was a bummer but I knew if I worked hard I could still get in at least one national before the end of the summer.

People ask me all the time why I race motocross but itā€™s just a part of who I am. I love to ride and know it makes me an all-around better athlete. Snocross and motocross arenā€™t as similar as people might think. Snocross is more like Supercross ā€“ short, intense races. Motocross is a whole different animal. Add the heat, for a guy like me whoā€™s used to racing in sub-zero temps, and itā€™s really tough.

This will be my first time at Indiana so I donā€™t know what to expect. I feel good but since I havenā€™t been racing this summer, itā€™s hard to set any goals. Iā€™m focused on doing my best and having some fun.ā€

Tucker Hibbert sweeps final snocross event and clinches ninth title

Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truckā€™s Tucker Hibbert was unstoppable at the final ISOC National Snocross event of the season in Lake Geneva, Wisc. Hibbert excelled on Grand Geneva Resortā€™s big, technical ski hill track winning five out of six of his qualifying rounds and all three Pro Open finals en route to his ninth pro national championship.

Friday night, Hibbert put on one of the most dominant performances of the season. He ripped the Stud Boy Traction holeshot and rode flawlessly to take the win by nearly 20 seconds over second place. With this victory, he tallied enough points to secure the championship title early.

In his 15th professional snocross season, Hibbert won 13 of the 17 ISOC Pro Open finals, recorded his 100th Pro National win with a jaw-dropping come-from-behind win in Deadwood, SD. and won a record-breaking eighth consecutive X Games gold medal. The 30-year-old from Pelican Rapids, Minn. has no plans to slow down and is already working to improve his program for the 2015/2016 snocross season.

Hibbert will now shift his focus to preparing to compete in select AMA Pro Motocross events and cross-country mountain bike races. To stay up-to-date with his summer racing, visit tucker-hibbert.com.

Tucker Hibbert – #68 Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truck

ā€œI had a blast racing at Lake Geneva and couldnā€™t have asked for a better way to end the season. It felt so good to consistently get good starts throughout the weekend and to finish the season on a high note.ā€

ā€œThe winter was awesome. I had so much fun. I keep calling my crew the ā€˜dream teamā€™ because weā€™re so dialed-in. We work really hard but have a ton of fun. Iā€™m really lucky to be able to work beside such talented people. We all look out for each other and do whatever it takes to make sure Iā€™m 100% prepared to win.ā€

ā€œLooking back, I wouldnā€™t change anything about this season. Obviously, it would have been awesome to win every race but the losses I had really fueled me to push harder. My favorite moment of the season was getting win number 100 at Deadwood. After crashing on the first lap, I let it all hang out. It was a really rewarding moment for me and my team. Iā€™ll never forget that night.ā€

ā€œIā€™m looking forward to switching gears and to get back on my dirt bike and bicycle. At the same time, I canā€™t wait to dive into plans for next winter. One thing I know for sure is that Iā€™m not slowing down!ā€

Hibbert takes win at Ram Snocross National and holds points lead

Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truckā€™s Tucker Hibbert took home a win and held onto his commanding lead in the Pro Open points championship chase at the Ram Truck Snocross National in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. For the second consecutive year, central Michiganā€™s Soaring Eagle Casino & Hotel featured a big, technical track for rounds 13 and 14 of the ISOC National Snocross tour.

Hibbert entered the weekend on a five round win streak and continued on that path Friday by winning both his qualifying races and the final event. Saturday began much the same as he won both qualifiers to lock down the number one start line pick for the final event.

Saturday night, Hibbert launched off the line in the 15-rider, 14-lap final to take the Stud Boy Traction holeshot and early lead. Riding smart and smooth on the quickly deteriorating track, he extended his gap over second place with each lap that passed. On lap nine, he cased a jump in the downhill rhythm section, was ejected off his sled and sent tumbling down the middle of the track. He didnā€™t waste any time getting up and ran to his sled but found it wedged in a corner of hard plastic banners and tuff blocks. Two laps passed before he was able to untangle his sled and reenter the race. He rode conservatively the remaining laps to salvage a ninth-place finish.

The ISOC tour will take a weekend break before entering the final stop of the 14/15 season in Lake Geneva, Wisc. With three full days of racing on tap in Lake Geneva, there are still 135 points up for grabs in the Pro Open Championship. Hibbert now holds an 89-point lead over second place and is in a solid position to clinch his ninth national title.

Tucker Hibbert – #68 Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truck

ā€œThis weekend started out awesome but ended pretty rough. Overall, I had a really good time racing on the Ram National track. I really like getting on these big, technical tracks. It separates the riders and forces us to ride hard and smart.ā€

ā€œUnfortunately, I made a mistake halfway through the final Saturday night that took away our (the teamā€™s) chance to sweep the weekend. The downhill section was changing fast and I made a poor line choice that basically catapulted me off my sled. I hit the ground pretty hard but was able to jump up and run to my sled right away. I got it fired-up pretty quick but once I hit the gas, my track just spun on a big plastic sign and sunk into a hole in the corner. There was no way I could get it out on my own so I had to wait for track workers to help me get all the signs untangled from my sled so I could get back on the track. Iā€™m frustrated about making the mistake. I had a big lead in that race and was on my way to the win.ā€

ā€œItā€™ll be good to have a weekend off and getting everything dialed-in for the final event. Itā€™s been an awesome year and Iā€™m looking forward to finishing strong.ā€

Tucker Hibbert untouchable at Route 66 Raceway Snocross National

Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truckā€™s Tucker Hibbert was untouchable at rounds 11 and 12 of the ISOC National Snocross tour in Joliet, Ill. Hibbert put on an impressive show at Route 66 Racewayā€™s drag strip, turned snocross course, by winning all four of his qualifying rounds and both final events.

Despite battling fierce winds and low visibility, Hibbert convincingly won both his qualifying races and the final Friday night. Saturday brought warmer weather, and with that, a big, high-energy crowd.

Hibbert had his most intense race of the weekend in the first round of qualifying Saturday night. He jumped the start of the nine-rider race, was sent to the back row and came out of turn one in last place. With only eight laps on the 40-second track, he immediately charged forward and by the end of lap three, he was on the rear bumper of race leader no. 324 Kyle Pallin. The two riders raced side-by-side through the split lane, dogleg section of the course. With Hibbert on the inside and Pallin on the outside, Hibbert blocked Pallin as the lanes merged, took the lead and runaway for the win.

After winning his second qualifying round, Hibbert had first start line pick for the 15-rider, 14-lap final event. Selecting the far inside, Hibbert got a solid jump off the line but was shut down by no. 837 Ross Martin. Hibbert followed Martin for a lap and a half, then, made the pass for the lead in exact same spot he passed Pallin in the first round of qualifying. With a clear track in front of him, Hibbert had full control of the course to take his 104th pro national victory.

Next up for Hibbert is the Ram Truck National at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. With a 97-point lead, the defending Pro Open National Champion will enter the final two stops of the ISOC tour in prime position to win the 2014/2015 championship.

Tucker Hibbert – #68 Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / Ram Truck

ā€œItā€™s an awesome feeling to win all my qualifying rounds and both finals. The only other time Iā€™ve done that this season was at Duluth. I was really impressed by the length of the course at Route 66. It was much longer than I imagined and by Saturday night, it got really rough which makes for great racing.ā€

ā€œIā€™m really excited heading into the race this weekend. Last year, the track at the Ram Truck National was huge. Hopefully theyā€™re putting together another awesome track.ā€
ā€œI know Iā€™m in a really good position in the points standing but try not to think about it too much. Iā€™m taking it race-by-race. If we (the team) keep focusing on being our best every time we hit the track, we should be able to take the championship.ā€
